SaaS company Your Brand Travel has secured an investment from Tregion Startup Invest.
- "This gives us muscle to further develop the platform before we launch our first customer in August," says Tamer Khairy, CEO and co-founder of the Örnsköldsvik-based company.
The investment company Tregion Startup Invest consists of some 20 investors and business angels who invest capital in startup companies affiliated with BizMaker, Dalarna Science Park and Movexum.
It is now clear that Tregion is investing SEK 300,000 in Your Brand Travel. The Örnsköldsvik-based SaaS (Software as a service) company offers customers customized travel experiences under their own brand, resulting in loyal customers and additional sales.
The capital from Tregion will be used to further develop the digital platform and ramp up marketing, according to Tamer Khairy, CEO and co-founder with 20 years in the travel industry.
- "The funding that we now receive through Tregion Startup Invest is an extremely important bridge to the larger investment round that we expect to complete by the end of the year," he says.
Your Brand Travel's digital platform is integrated with the client company under its own brand. Your Brand Travel manages everything from selection and packaging of trips and experiences, booking systems, customer service to project management of the trips together with subcontractors.
Your Brand Travel recently signed an agreement with outdoor brand Isbjörn of Sweden, which will launch the Isbjörn Adventure travel club in August.
- We have ongoing dialogues at various stages with several other brands. We will start in the Nordic region, but then aim for the major markets in Germany, the Netherlands and France in the long term," says Tamer Khairy.
Tregion Startup Invest was launched in January 2022 and has so far invested in nine startup companies from Dalarna, Gävleborg and Västernorrland. In addition to funding, Tregion offers access to a network, skills exchange and matching with the right investors.
Your Brand Travel is part of the BizMaker incubator program, which offers business development support and valuable knowledge for entrepreneurs approaching the market with a new business idea.
