Strengthened innovation power: BizMaker receives SEK 14.6 million in funding from Vinnova

BizMaker has been granted SEK 14.6 million in funding from Vinnova and has a continued place in the national program for excellent incubators during the period 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2029. With the support, BizMaker can strengthen its role as an innovation engine and develop its offerings to startups and scaleups with a focus on sustainable growth and innovation.

- This is proof that we have quality-assured processes, fantastic staff and top-class business development tools," says Matts Nyman, CEO of BizMaker.

Vinnova's initiative is aimed at incubators that help new companies grow and become competitive, both in Sweden and internationally. Since 2018, BizMaker has been part of the national incubator program, which supports established players with sustainability and gender equality as key drivers. The program offers funding to deliver services that accelerate the development of new, knowledge-intensive growth companies. The application process is divided into two stages: first, the quality and processes of the incubators are assessed, then their portfolios of companies.

- "The funding gives us security for four years and complements the regional and municipal funding in a good way. It allows us to continue developing our business development programs to create sustainable growth on the startup scene, both regionally and nationally," says Matts Nyman.

In the coming years, BizMaker will use the funds to strengthen its efforts in business development, innovation and sustainability. Through expert support, networking and international expansion, BizMaker wants to create the best conditions for the next generation of successful companies.

- "We look forward to creating opportunities for even more innovative startups to grow and become the growth companies of tomorrow. In addition, the support means that we can continue to develop in a national context and exchange experiences with other incubators and innovation environments," says Matts Nyman.
