Permitify's digital solution replaces the manual handling of work permits for high-risk jobs. With fresh venture capital behind it, the Sundsvall-based company is ready to ramp up both development and sales.
High-risk work in industry requires both risk analysis and work permits, which must be approved by both the client and the contractor.
Sundsvall-based company Permitify has developed a digital platform that provides a better overview, more efficient coordination, and reduces the risk of costly downtime.
After several extensive tests, including at Rottneros in Vallvik, the product is ready to be launched.
With venture capital from Almi Invest and a private investor, founders Johan Nylander, Linda Hansson Hildingson, and Peter Hildingson can now focus fully on growth.
"The capital allows us to scale up our operations. I focus on marketing and sales, while the rest of the team further develops the technology based on customer needs, including AI-based decision support for risk management," says CEO Johan Nylander.
The market is characterized by stricter requirements for security and risk management, which strengthens demand.
In February, Permitify will begin a collaboration with a major customer in the water and wastewater industry in Gothenburg.
"Our solution integrates with the customer's existing IT systems to reduce manual work and leverage information that already exists digitally," says Johan Nylander.
In addition to the process and water and wastewater industries, the company sees great potential in the construction and civil engineering sector, where similar risks are managed and where an industry-specific version is now being developed.
"New regulations are placing ever-increasing demands on risk assessment. Our solution plays an important role in both safety and efficiency," says Johan Nylander.
