New service solves security challenges for the public sector

Advances in digitalization and AI are making many jobs easier - but also creating new security and privacy challenges. Until now, it has been difficult to use AI safely in large parts of the public sector, but now the company ITSL Solutions is developing a service to solve the problem.

- Today, people still send sensitive information by fax and mail - we are developing technology so that the public sector can work effectively with AI in a legal and appropriate way. This will save a lot of time and money - and also give citizens better service," says co-founder Fredrik Jonasson.

ITSL has now received funding of up to SEK 1.6 million from Region Västernorrland to continue working on the platform, and it will be launched on April 18. Nextcloud Nordic Hub will also be arranged at Grönborgs in Sundsvall, where ITSL, together with representatives from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, will talk about the latest in ethical AI and open source.

- Together we will dive into the future opportunities in digital communication and AI for the public sector," says Fredrik Jonasson.

The company has worked hard to create solutions that are secure enough for the public sector's high demands on confidentiality and data protection. Instead of being stored in foreign cloud services, the data is managed in Sweden, and the platform provider does not have access to the information.
