The Swedish Energy Agency has granted a new national mission to accelerate Sweden's energy transition by helping more companies develop, test and commercialize new energy solutions. In northern Sweden, the mission is being carried out by four leading innovation environments: Arctic Business, Skellefteå Science City, Uminova Innovation and BizMaker.
The initiative provides SMEs with access to comprehensive support to take their energy solutions further - from developing the business idea and verifying the business model to seeking financing and finding collaborations with investors, customers and industry partners in Sweden and internationally.

Four players join forces for northern Sweden businesses
By combining their networks, experience and skills, the four innovation actors are creating a cohesive platform where companies can get the right support at the right stage, whether they are in early idea development or ready for expansion. This gives northern Sweden a stronger and more accessible structure for companies developing new energy solutions.
