Business Scaleup, BizMaker's business development program for micro and small enterprises in Västernorrland, is showing impressive results. With an increase in turnover of over SEK 21 million and 18 new jobs created by the participating companies, the program contributes to long-term growth in Västernorrland.
In recent years, BizMaker has broadened its offer to strengthen the existing business community in Västernorrland. Through the business development program Business Scaleup, companies are helped to identify and deal with obstacles that slow down their development. For 18 months, the participating companies work together with four external coaches and two process managers from BizMaker to strengthen various parts of the business and create conditions for growth.
Concrete results
So far, six companies have participated in the program, and although several are still active in the process, the results can already be measured:
- The combined turnover of the companies has increased by SEK 21.7 million.
- The companies have together hired 18 new employees.
- Watching these companies grow and reach their potential is incredibly inspiring. Their success is not only a win for themselves but also for the whole of Västernorrland. This is proof that long-term support and structured programs really make a difference," says Pelle Berglund, Process Manager for Business Scaleup at BizMaker.

The growth journeys that companies take under the program contribute to more than just stronger businesses. They create new jobs, tax revenues and more robust businesses that can face the challenges and competition of the future.
