Are you a student and do you have thoughts and ideas about the future of Västernorrland and want to contribute to the green transition? Are you driven and want to broaden your network with like-minded people in an environment where you can contribute with your perspectives and ideas? Take the chance! We are now looking for more students who live and work in, or have a connection to Västernorrland, to join our student board.
We are looking for people who are studying at a university or university of applied sciences and are interested in innovation, strategic work and the development of business and society at large. We would like you to have a genuine interest in entrepreneurship, the start-up world and the green transition.
ABOUT THE TASK
- You will be part of an existing student board together with 6 other board members.
- You will have the opportunity to meet entrepreneurs, startups and build relationships with leading figures in the business community in Västernorrland.
- The Board meets 6-8 times a year and each meeting lasts about 1.5 hours.
- The assignment lasts between 1-2 years.
Our vision is to turn good ideas into global business and sustainable societal solutions. BizMaker is an innovation actor in Västernorrland that takes care of early innovative ideas, supports startups to quickly achieve success in international markets, helps companies in the established business community to grow and become more profitable and strengthens the ability of public organizations to develop and renew themselves. Since fall 2023, we also work to help companies that want to establish themselves in Västernorrland. We work to make our region a sustainable and attractive place to live and work.
ABOUT THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT
The student board consists of students and alumni from Mid Sweden University and neighboring universities who, by contributing their perspectives and insights, develop BizMaker's activities as an innovation actor in Västernorrland, shape the future of the region and contribute to increasing the attraction of young people to Västernorrland.
