BizMaker strengthens its presence in Höga Kusten – hires Tomas Falkensson as business developer in Sollefteå and Kramfors

BizMaker recruits Tomas Falkensson as a new business developer based in Sollefteå and Kramfors. The recruitment is part of Region Västernorrland's extra effort to strengthen local support for companies and individuals with innovative ideas.

With Tomas Falkensson on board, BizMaker is strengthening its local offering inSollefteåandKramfors. The initiative is aimed at people who want to realize new business ideas, entrepreneurs who are facing the next step in their business journey, and existing companies that want to develop, grow, or become more innovative.

Tomas has his roots in Sollefteå and a broad background in entrepreneurship and business development. Among other things, he has run his own company in Östersund for many years and previously worked as business manager in the municipality of Sollefteå. These experiences have given him a good insight into both the everyday life of entrepreneurs and the region's development potential.

"I am a curious person and am driven by change and progress. Working in Höga Kusten will be exciting, and I look forward to contributing to development and growth both here and in the rest of Västernorrland," says Tomas Falkensson, business developer atBizMaker.

Region Västernorrlandis making an extra investment of SEK 1 million over two years via BizMaker, with a particular focus on Sollefteå and Kramfors. This investment will enable local business development support to be strengthened through Tomas's project employment, where he will divide his time between the two municipalities.

"The hope is that we will see the effects of this initiative in the form of more business ideas and companies in Sollefteå and Kramfors, but also that we can learn lessons that will strengthen business promotion efforts in the rest of the county," says Jonny Lundin (C), chairman of the regional development committee.

Recruitment is part of BizMaker's efforts to strengthen innovation, increase the number of sustainable companies, and contribute to long-term growth throughout Västernorrland.
